This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect and use your personal data. It also describes your rights and how you can enforce them.

What data do we process?

We need your personal data in order to perform our agreements and discharge our commitments to you. This may be your name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. These items of data are stored in various computer systems in order to enable us to provide you with service in respect of the products and services you purchase from Weland. In addition, this data is also used to allow us to provide you with personalized offers. Processing is based on the agreement or customer relationship that is initiated when you place an order with us.

As a Weland customer, you will only receive marketing materials from us in instances where you have given your express consent or where we have determined that you could be interested in what we are offering. All processing that is based on your consent can be revoked by you at any time without explanation by contacting the company.

Where does the data come from?

Usually, the data comes directly from you and is collected when you register as a customer. We also receive some data when conducting the customary credit checks.

What are my rights?

The new law means that customers now have a number of rights. These include being able to request an extract summarizing the data we hold about you in our database (e.g. Name and contact details), and the right to request that incorrect data be corrected or that data be deleted once the agreement/customer relationship has ended. However, we cannot delete data that constitutes public documentation or where we are subject to a statutory requirement to maintain data in our records, e.g. accounting regulations.

If you wish to make a complaint in respect of our processing of your personal data, you have are entitled to submit your complaint to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).

Cookies

Welandsolutions.com uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the computer of the visitor to the website. It can be either a session cookie or a persistent cookie. A session cookie disappears when the browser is closed, while a persistent cookie is saved to the visitor’s hard drive, enabling them to use weland.com with full functionality. These cookies control things such as choice of language or other preferences that are saved to make the next visit to the website a more enjoyable experience.

We use cookies to make navigating the website easier, as well as to adapt the site to the needs of the user. The data collected through cookies is not personally identifiable and is used only to determine user patterns in respect of their consumption of our web services. The IP addresses of visitors to weland.com are not saved in our databases. Consequently, no personal information can ever be linked to your identity.

Traffic and Statistics

Welandsolutions.com also uses cookies to calculate and report user numbers and traffic. We also use third-party cookies from Google Analytics to collect statistics about how our visitors use the site. The information collected and stored in your browser is anonymized, so we can see how many visitors we have, where in the world visitors are from, and which pages they visit. We also save user data, such as names and email addresses, in order to send out newsletters and other relevant material using the software service Apsis One.

Intellectual Property Rights

All materials on the website, including texts, images, trademarks, design, and graphic profiles are the property of the company or our partners. All use, beyond what is required for use of the website, requires the company’s written consent. All use in contradiction of these terms and conditions will result in legal action.

Liability

The company accepts no liability for, nor guarantees the quality, functionality, or availability of the website or its content. In addition, in instances where we refer to the website of a third party, we also do not accept liability for the material or content hosted therein.

Applicable Law

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be settled under Swedish law, except for its conflict of laws principles, with Jönköping District Court acting as the court of first instance.
