Esbe wanted to invest in vertical storage lifts in order to increase the capacity in its warehouse for finished products. They also wanted to optimise the factory area that is needed for the assembly flows for new products.
With two Compact Twin vertical storage lifts from Weland Solutions, Esbe has obtained more efficient picking, reduced the time needed for picking orders and reduced truck movements. The vertical storage lifts have also provided faster stocktaking and better order in the warehouse. The reason why Esbe chose the Compact Twin vertical storage lifts in particular was because the company wanted it to be possible for the vertical storage lift to operate while picking from the load tray was being performed.
